Philip Kaufman has been honored with retrospectives at the Sundance Film Festival, the Cambridge, England Film Festival, the Mill Valley Film Festival, the Wine Country Film Festival and the Taos Talking Picture Festival, where he received the Howard Hawks Storyteller Award. Mr. Kaufman was honored with tributes at the Institute Lumiere in France and the American Film Institute.
